The Coexist Teacher’s Guide was developed in conjunction with the documentary film in a unique partnership between Director Adam Mazo and Learning Director Dr. Mishy Lesser.

The Guide was written by Dr. Lesser and emerged from the comments and reflections of numerous students, youth workers, teachers, professors, and practitioners who reacted to our film during the editing process. We recommend you look at the Teacher’s Guide before screening the film. Lesson 1 is best used before screening the Rwanda History segment, and Lesson 2 is helpful both before and after screening Coexist. Click here to purchase the Educational DVD.
